What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

What my dad told me when I got into banking is to stand up, shake someone’s hand and look them in the eye.

What’s your favorite Parker hangout?

My two favorite places to hang out in Parker are Parker Garage and Vines. That’s where business gets done.

What do you love most about living in Parker?

Parker is definitely the best place to live. It has the perfect small-town feeling, and it’s still small enough to where you can walk down Mainstreet, and people will call you by your name.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

“The measure of a man is not what he has, but what he has accomplished.” I strive to really make a difference in my community, while at the same time be a successful businessperson and best friend and family member I can be.

What motivates you?

The greatest motivator for me is my daughter. My daughter has special needs and has been through a great deal of medical procedures in her life. She is incredibly brave, positive and loving in her approach to her life.

What motivates you?

Honest, hardworking, faith-based people

Besides your family, who has inspired you most in your career?

I have been fortunate to have had many mentors in my career. I have been a funeral director for 40 years and have been involved in many civic and professional organizations.

What’s your favorite Parker hangout?

I like Parker Days weekend, and I love the Colorado fall season the most: football, tailgating, motorcycling, RV-ing around the state.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

My parents taught me to treat others with respect as well as the value of humility. This has allowed me to establish lasting relationships with friends as well as clients in my business.

Besides your family, who has inspired you most in your career?

Before owning my agency, I worked for two State Farm agents who continue to be my mentors, offering guidance and advice for growth both professionally and personally.

What’s your favorite Parker hangout? 

I enjoy running the Cherry Creek Trail behind my office and grabbing a beer at Downhill Brewing Company in Parker.

Always tell the truth. There is only one version, and it’s easy to remember.

What motivates you?

Creating a big-picture vision for things that have never been done.

Besides your family, who has inspired you most in your career?

Joe Ferguson, a great friend and mentor from Nebraska, who encouraged me to join the chamber of commerce industry 10 years ago to make a difference in communities.

What’s your favorite Parker hangout?

The trails in Parker can’t be beat. Our family enjoys the amazing Colorado sunshine and fresh air on the trails, especially at Castlewood Canyon State Park.

My wife and two sons are the driving force behind everything I do. I strive to make them proud and to give them a world which they would be proud of.

Besides your family, who has inspired you most in your career?

The most powerful inspiration in my professional career has come from my parents. They have shown me that living a life of service to others and integrity is the path we should all take.

What’s your favorite Parker hangout?

My favorite part about Parker is enjoying time on the patio at the amazing locally owned restaurants in Parker.
