July 2019 Around Town

New Head Pastor

Aaron Couch is the new head pastor at Southeast Christian Church in Parker. Aaron says he is most excited for, “new opportunity, new adventure—the people that we’ve met in Parker have been wonderful.” He preached his first weekend April 21. Aaron currently resides in Idaho and has been there for more than 25 years. Aaron says he is excited about the transition. “They’ve got a lot of really cool community service programs, and that matters to me. I’m excited to continue to grow on that and expand it.”

Mici’s Handcrafted Italian

Find family-recipe pastas and handcrafted pizzas in Parker intersected between Parker Road and Twenty Mile at Mici Handcrafted Italian restaurant’s new sixth location. The Parker location, which opened June 10, will be Mici’s largest to date. Mici’s is a family-run, fast-casual restaurant with recipes passed through generations. As their grandfather had, their sauces are simmered for hours, and pizza dough is cooked directly on a stone deck. The food is delicately served up from the heart. “It’s what we do for family.”
