Ladies-Only Drivers Class

Join the Rocky Mountain Region of Porsche Club of America for its annual Ladies-Only High-Performance Driver Education on Aug. 10 at the Colorado State Patrol Track in Golden. This is the largest women-only track event in the nation. The event is open to all women regardless of experience and all makes of cars, but some rules do apply. Register by Aug. 5. Polo Fest at Denver Polo Club

Join in the fun at PoloFest with major headliner musicians, world-clas polo and an amazing crowd at Denver Polo Club. The festival is from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Aug. 31 at the Denver Polo Club, 6359 Airport Road in Sedalia. The lineup this year includes KYGO, a world-renowned producer, songwriter, DJ and music marvel who has turned himself into an international sensation in unprecedented time. Rooms to Heal Revealed for Denver Area Children

The Denver chapter of Savvy Giving By Design provides room makeovers to kids experiencing medical crises at no cost to them or their families. The Denver chapter revealed its “Room to Heal” at the end of June. The recipient was 5-year-old Owen McLaughlin of Thornton, who has been diagnosed with brain cancer and severe autism. Jessica Duce and Kathy Helfrich of JDuce Design designed the space. The Denver chapter gave Owen’s big sister, Brylie, her own gorgeous bedroom as well.
